A MAGNIFICENT LARGE CHINESE TWIN HANDLED FINE GILT PAINTED CELADON AMPHORA VASE, painted with foliage. 40 cm high, Yongzheng Mark and Period. This celadon amphora is a masterpiece of craftsmanship in the Imperial Manufactory of Emperor Yongzheng. The fine gold painting, which enhances the visual effect of the celadon vase in comparison to the auctioned vase at Christies and highlights the pomp, one can say with certainty, it is an exceptional object from the personal possession of Emperor Yongzheng. Christie's Seladon Amphora is undoubtedly a beautiful handcrafted work and was possibly shaped by the same master. This is speculation and can only be identified by direct comparison of certain characteristics. To avert all speculation, was from the world-renowned laboratory Kotalla created a thermo-luminescent certificate, which leaves no doubt about the authenticity
