Description:
Original Bernard van Guyse set of carriage and two horses. In the original unrestored condition. Bernard van Guyse was a sculptor from Gent Belgium who started in 1918 as a self-employed person. In the 1940s Bernard van Guyse was a supplier of wooden horses to the well-known company L' Autopéde from Melle until 1955. Horses and carriage are completely made of wood, probably from that period. Beautiful rare set that come from a children's carousel. ( dimensions per horse: 95 cm high / 110 cm Width / 40 cm depth ) Dimensions Carriage: 70 cm high / 65 cm Width / 88 cm depth ) Height: 95 cm. Width: 180 cm. Depth: 88 cm. Condition: Unrestored. Location: The Netherlands, Tilburg.
