1880, FRENCH: French-style cylinder music box playing 8 ayers (tunes) with a 16cm (6 - 1/4") disc and 3 bee-striking saucer bells. Simple walnut cabinet without inlay, maker unknown. The walnut cabinet shows little wear, with just minor surface abrasions. The mechanics of the music box work well, and the tonal quality is very good. The mechanics show light oxidation and there is not a complete tune card. No keys. Height: 21,5 cm. Width: 46,5 cm. Depth: 28 cm. Condition: Very Good. Location: The Netherlands, Tilburg.
