Swiss, late 19th century. An upright "Smoking Cabinet" disc music box from Britannia. The interior features upright music box components with two vertical combs and a glass display panel that reveals the internal working components. The interior is marked RegD 370.254. In a rosewood case with burl walnut veneer inlays and a clock and finial top. Includes a crank, key and four 9 inch discs; ht. 27, wd. 16.5, dp. 9.75 in. Two of the teeth on one comb are broken, otherwise very good working condition. Height: 68,5 cm. Width: 41 cm. Depth: 25 cm. Condition: Very Good. Location: Switzerland, Degersheim.
