Romy Schneider (1938 - 1982). Convolute consisting of a pillbox and a lidded ashtray made of Alabaster. Both with floral motifs handpainted on the lids. Dimensions: Pillbox: 1,6 x 2,0 in. Ashtray: 2,0 x 2,4 in. Provenance: This object is part of the inventary of her former apartment in Berlin 33, Grunewald, Winklerstr. 22. After the divorce of the couple Romy Schneider and her son moved to Paris and the whole interior was put on storage in a Berlin warehouse. After her death a part of this heritage was meant to be sold by auction via the Berlin based auction hous K&K. This item also was sold in this auction and it comes with a notarized certificate of origin issued by the auctionhouse. K&K was specialized in prominent heritage sales of arists and persons of historical interest. DF/CH

Sehr guter Zustand, auf den Deckeln jeweils handbemalt mit floralen Motiven. Masse: Pillendose: 5,0 x 4,0 cm, Reiseaschenbecher 6,0 x 5,0 cm Herkunft: Die beiden o.g. Objekte aus dem Nachlass der Romy Schneider stammen aus der Auflösung der Berliner Wohnung in Berlin 33 – Grunewald, Winklerstr. 22. Auch die hier vorliegenden Stücke wurden durch das Auktionshaus K&K versteigert. Dem Konvolut ist eine notariell beglaubigte Bestätigung des Auktionshauses zugehörig, welche die Identität der Exponate eindeutig nachweist. DF/CH
