Very rare Lochmann orchestrion with the 3 metal cylinders (without teeth) Only few instruments with this very light metal cylinders survived. This was the latest invention before the manufacturers changed to music rolls. Changing barrels was a procedure which needed a strongman to do. Lochman made it easy with this invention. Each cylinder plays 5 music pieces selected by a handle on the side. Coin mechanism. The instrument plays on a 32 tone piano with rotating mandoline , triangle, snare drum and cymbal.
