The Philipps Violine, Style PC 10 was the largest keyboard instrument the German com-
pany produced out of Frankfurt am Main. Due to the cooperation with Rudolph Wurlitzer
thousands of instruments were sold to America and up to now the few remaining once are
highly appreciated by the American collectors. This specific instrument is unique because of
its instrumentation. Piano with mandolin attachment, xylophone, bells, triangle, bass and
snare drum, cymbal 2 ranks of violin pipes, flute and one rank of cello pipes in the back of
the instrument.
