onym for “music box”. Between 1894 and World War I the Regina Music Box Company out of
Rahway, New Jersey sold more than 100’000 instruments. Few brought more happiness and
enjoyment in the“good old days”to American homes than Regina Company with their music
boxes. A huge variety of disc music boxes, for deep and small pockets, were produced and
one of the top model was the Regina Corona line. With the invention of the disc changer the
owner was capable to select from 12 top hits by putting a coin in the slot for restaurants or
at will for homes. While on the Swiss cylinder music box you were stuck with 6-12 melodies
on a pinned cylinder, the disc music box allowed you to always listen to the latest hit. – The
jukebox of the beginning of the new century – Jerry’s Regina Changer is the Style 34 made
for home use and is in like new condition.
