The Style B, BX, C, CX were probably the most popular orchestrions built by the Wur-
litzer company. They were manufactured in many different cabinet styles and some had the
“wonder light” added on top. Since this was a fascinating addition for the public it is also
called “fascinator”- the very first disco light. The X stands for the automatic roll changer,
which this instrument does not have. Jerry’s Style C has a high-grade piano with mandolin
attachment, two ranks of pipes – Violin and Flute, orchestra bells and full percussion and
plays a 10-tune roll.
